UEC March 2024

The Union Européenne de Cyclisme and cycling clothing brand Alé will continue to ride together until 2029.

The extension of the agreement between the continental confederation and the prestigious Italian brand was signed this morning by UEC President Enrico Della Casa, the owner of APG S.r.l. Federico Zecchetto and the CEO of APG S.r.l. Alessia Piccolo, the company to which Alé belongs, and concerns the supply of European champion jerseys for the competition and Masters categories (for a total of around 40 events per year) for the period 2025-2029.

Enrico Della Casa, Union Européenne de Cyclisme President: «For the Union Européenne de Cyclisme the renewal of the agreement with Alé, a leading company in the sportswear sector, represents an important step that goes beyond simple commercial logic, as it underlines and consolidates a human relationship and trust built up over time by both parties, a fundamental aspect in ensuring the success of the partnership.

Since the beginning of our relationship in 2017, over the years, with Alé and all its staff, we have shared a fruitful path, and we will continue it to achieve long-term common goals. I would like to thank Alessia Piccolo, Managing Director of AGP Cycling and all the staff of the Italian company for their trust, with whom we will be celebrating the European champions of the next six years.”

Alessia Piccolo, Managing Director of APG: “Clothing champions is in Alé’s DNA. Supporting an organisation like the UEC is an honour and a constant encouragement to improve our clothing for every type of cyclist, each with their own particularities and requirements. From a communications point of view, this is an important asset that will strengthen the brand’s reputation in the various disciplines.”
